 In the celebration of the sacraments, especially in the Eucharist, we are more closely united to God and to one another. This union calls us and empowers us to share the gifts that we have been given with others. The following are the ministries that help our community to worship well.
WORSHIP COMMISSION
This group is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the worship activities in the parish. People who are creative and committed are needed to share views and ideas about worship.

 LECTORS
These ministers proclaim the Word of God at all liturgies, and are scheduled on a monthly basis.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
These take Communion to the sick and homebound and may assist in the distribution of the Eucharist at Masses. Training is provided for those 18 years of age and older.
CHOIRS
Our parish has four choirs: an Adult Choir, which sings at the 9:00 Mass each Sunday; a Youth Choir, which sings once a month; a Contemporary Choir,
which sings at the 10:30 a.m. Mass each Sunday; and Project Praise, which
plays and sings at the noon Mass each Sunday.

 ALTAR SERVERS
This liturgical ministry is open to all adults and youth, male and female. Adult servers are scheduled to serve at the 7:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday and at funeral Masses. Young people from grade five through high school are trained and scheduled to serve at other Masses.

USHERS
These men and women perform the ministry of hospitality and greeting at Mass. They also facilitate the seating of parishioners, taking up of the collection, and assist when emergencies arise. Families and individuals are welcome to join in this ministry.

LITURGICAL ART AND ENVIRONMENT
Volunteers who collaborate in planning, creating, and maintaining the environment for worship appropriate to the liturgical seasons and to other occasions.

 CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
This ministry is celebrated at the 10:30 Mass each Sunday, September
through May, to help the younger children of the parish understand the message of the Scriptures. The children leave the Mass as a group after the Opening Rite, and return at the Preparation of the Gifts. Catechists and aides are needed.
