INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT:
Mikki Sechkar presented a detailed power point of the Institutional Advancement Plan. A hard copy of the presentation is available.

M.O.M.S.
Participants will be making cards of cheer and get well wishes for those on our parish sick list.

OLD BUSINESS
A report was sent on behalf of council and town hall meeting to Bishop Lennon regarding the downsizing of parishes from 7 to 3.

MINISTRIES
Council discussed suggested ways of acknowledging the participants in the various parish ministries.

YOUTH MINISTRY
A committee will be set up to develop a viable youth ministry plan. Roland Januzzi offered to be co-chairperson along with Zachary Zvosecz. Joe Sechkar volunteered Project Praise as the catalyst. Fr. chuck offered to be the Spiritual Director.

CENTENNIAL
A banquet is scheduled at DeLuca's Place in the Park on February 21, 2009. Tickets at $35 will go on sale in January. Plans include a monthly newsletter, the proposed trip to Italy, a float for the International Festival parade, and the collection of memorabilia by Carm Januzzi.

STEWARDSHIP
A meeting was planned for October 20th.

SCHOOL
The new students are adjusting nicely. Plans are underway for memorials in honor of Zachary Gott, the student who lost his life in a windstorm. The renewal of accreditation has begun and will continue through 2010.

PSR
Programs are in place and the pre-sacramental programs for parents and students for Confirmation have been offered. Sr. Rosemary and Mikki Sechkar conducted Virtus workshops, and Sr. Annamae, assisted by Mrs. Gagyi, scheduled finger printing.

SPIRITUAL LIFE
Will plan for Advent and Lent.

RESPECT LIFE
Members will discuss new, more effective ways of observing October-Respect Life Month.

WORSHIP
Altar servers are being recruited in the day school and PSR. Glory and Praise books have been removed since most hymns are now in Breaking Bread.

RCIA
Twelve individuals expressed an interest with four or five regularly attending. Deacon Jay hopes that RCIA will become a "cluster" program.

FINANCE
A parish report for the past fiscal year is being prepared.

WORKSHOP
Gloria Mantini and Louis Treboniak will attend a workshop for new pastoral council members at the Center for Pastoral Leadership in Wickliffe on Oct. 18th.
